Our Background & Goal
Latent Ventures was formed to provide specialist corporate services to Australian early stage business ventures and to take advantage of the emerging Asian venture capital market.
Partners
Dr Kim Elms
Dr Elms has a PhD in Computer Science from QUT, Australia, and a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) from the University of Southern Queensland.
Kim has extensive experience in business strategy and technology delivery both in corporate organisations and start-ups. He has years of experience in foundation technology research and development that has led to patent protection and international vendor product innovation activities. His strengths include development of international collaborative projects that deliver synergies and value for many corporations from diverse industries.
Duncan Unwin
Duncan has a Masters in Information Systems and is a Senior Associate of FINSIA.
Duncan applies his decades of experience in business and market strategy, product management, organisational change and lean theory to help startups thrive and grow, as well as engaging his network of extensive contacts to drive investor value and venture delivery.
Duncan is also a pro bono board member for a number of Not-for-Profit organisations.
